Emerging Display Technologies (EDT) was established in 1994. It is a major LCD assembly company listed on the Taiwanese stock market.
EDT's production bases are located in Kaohsiung, Taiwan and Dongguan, China. They are both flexible and have a large production capacity. EDT has strengths in the provision of all-in-one products that have many components, from touch panels to peripheral circuits, and also in the provision of LCD modules alone. The company has a long track record in the Japanese market. EDT has acquired ISO 13485 certification for medical equipment and the IATF 16949 certification for in-vehicle equipment. You can rely on support from EDT as the company has a corporate office in Japan and a resident Taiwanese engineer in Tokyo.

3.5- to 27-inch capacitive touch panels (CTPs)
- EDT develops and produces all of its capacitive touch panels (CTPs) in-house.
- In collaboration with major control IC manufacturers all over the world, EDT can provide CTPs with different specifications and performance characteristics. The company can also provide contactless CTPs in line with recent needs.
3.5- to 27-inch integrated TFT-CTP modules
- EDT develops and produces all of its products except its TFT panels in-house.
- The optimal FW design is the fruit of its collaboration with a contactless IC manufacturer making it possible to provide high-performance integrated-CTP modules.
Smart Embedded
- Smart Embedded products come equipped with the LCD, CTP, peripheral circuits and standard components, provided as a set, in addition to the LCD module and monitor.
- They also come with a free GUI (Touch GFX), enabling customers to easily create images.
- EDT collaborates with customers in the development of embedded systems so that the customers can customize their system interfaces.
- Products may be available even in small quantities, 20 pcs/year minimum.
