Start-up company launched by Osaka Gas, the company manufacturing and selling SPACECOOL, a radiative cooling material
SPACECOOL is a radiative cooling material that blocks heat from sunlight and the atmosphere under direct sunlight and controls heat absorption. It is also a technology that is able to reduce its temperature to a level below the outside temperature without consuming any energy by dissipating heat to the atmosphere leveraging the principle of radiative cooling. SPACECOOL has developed a range of materials to date, and it has established a track record in the provision of products for building roofs and other large-area applications including outdoor electrical equipment (cubicles containing power distribution board or other equipment). The company is speeding up its business expansion into Asia and the Middle East areas as well as Japan.
