WAYTON TECHNOLOGY was established in 1994 mainly by people from Hitachi's display division. WAYTON has several fully automatic TFT-LCD module assembly lines in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Full automation has eliminated as much manual work as possible, which increases the quality of mass production and assembly accuracy. Today, the company provides products for consumer equipment, industrial equipment, MFP equipment, medical equipment and in-vehicle equipment, and many of its products are used in the Japanese market, mainly by MFP manufacturers. It has acquired IATF16949 certification, an in-vehicle equipment standard.

They can function even when their lens cover is wet with drops of water. These products are often delivered as TFTs with integrated touch panel modules.
