Chemical Substances Management

SHINDEN HIGHTEX has established and operates a chemical substance management system (CMS) to comply with our customers' green procurement standards.

*SHINDEN HIGHTEX complies with the JAMP Guideline for chemical management in products (3rd edition).

Chemical substance management policy

  1. SHINDEN HIGHTEX has established a chemical management system and properly manages prohibited chemicals and substances of environmental concern based on the laws of Japan and other countries, industry standards and the requests of customers.
  2. Customers' green procurement-related requests are always communicated to suppliers, and SHINDEN HIGHTEX requests that products are developed and designed to minimize their environmental impact, ensure they are free of banned substances, and any substances of environmental concern are reduced or replaced.
  3. Throughout its supply chain, SHINDEN HIGHTEX properly gathers and manages information about the chemicals contained in its products and communicates this information properly.
  4. SHINDEN HIGHTEX works to increase employees' awareness of chemical management.
